What is Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus?
Microsoft Office LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel) Professional Plus 2024 comes with Access, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Skype for Business, Teams, and Word. Note that Access and Publisher are not available for macOS. This version also features the OneNote desktop app.
As Microsoft is ready to debut Office 2024, excitement among computer fans is growing. Microsoft revealed a new productivity suite addition earlier this year via the Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC). Office LTSC 2024 will go on sale later this year; a commercial preview began in late spring.
In addition to Office LTSC 2024, which targets specific use cases, Microsoft is also set to release an on-premises version of Office 2024 for end consumers in the latter half of this year. Both versions will be sold as traditional “one-time purchase” licenses and supported for five years under Microsoft’s Fixed Lifecycle Policy.
These products will be added to the A2Keys store as soon as they become available.

Why Release a New On-Premises Microsoft Office 2024?
While many software vendors have moved towards subscription models, Microsoft continues to offer perpetual licensing options for specific scenarios. This is crucial for environments where an always-online model is not feasible, such as manufacturing devices not connected to the internet, medical testing machines with locked apps, regulated devices, computer labs, and submarines.
The on-premises version of Office 2024 will not include cloud-based features available in Microsoft 365 plans, such as real-time collaboration, AI-driven automation, or cloud-backed security. However, it brings new features and enhancements designed to improve productivity and creativity for users.

Despite these improvements, Office 2024 as an on-premises product will lack certain features available to Microsoft 365 subscribers, such as real-time collaboration, AI-driven automation, mobile access for editing documents, and cloud-backed security capabilities.
Applications Included in Microsoft Office 2024

Office 2024 aims to boost efficiency, productivity, and teamwork for individual users and businesses. The suite will include familiar applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and OneNote, with updates to templates, design features, and performance optimizations. Notably, Microsoft Publisher will be discontinued, and Teams will be available only as a standalone product.
Expected MS Office 2024 Editions
Office LTSC 2024 will be available in editions like Office LTSC Professional Plus, Office LTSC Standard, and Office LTSC Embedded, with prices increasing by up to 10%. Consumer editions will likely include Home & Student, Home & Business, Professional, and Professional Plus.
Office 2024 System Requirements
Office 2024 will support Windows 10 and 11 (with Arm-based devices requiring Windows 11) in 32- and 64-bit versions. Requirements include 4 GB of RAM and 4 GB of available disk space. For Mac, it requires 4GB of RAM, at least 10 GB of disk space, and an Intel or Apple Silicon processor, supporting the three most recent macOS versions.
Future Outlook
Microsoft continues to innovate, catering to various user needs with a diverse range of Office applications and tools. Despite the push towards subscription models, the new Office LTSC 2024 addresses specific use cases requiring on-premises products. Additionally, Microsoft has committed to releasing at least one more standalone Office version in the coming years.
