Who we are.

1) What we collect

Account & order data: name, email, billing/shipping address, phone (optional), order details.
Payment data: processed by our payment providers (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We do not store full card numbers or CVV.
Device & usage data: IP address, browser/device info, pages viewed, timestamps (for security/fraud and analytics).
Support data: messages, screenshots, error codes you send us.

2) Why we use it (purposes)

To fulfill your order and provide digital delivery of license keys.
Customer support (verify activation issues, replacements/refunds).
Fraud prevention & security (3-D Secure/AVS checks, IP reputation).
Legal & tax compliance (invoices, accounting records, sales/VAT obligations).
Site operations & analytics (to improve performance and UX).
We do not sell your personal information.

3) What we share (and with whom)

We share only what’s necessary with:

Payment processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal) to take payment.
Hosting/IT & email providers to run the site and send order emails.
Fraud-prevention/anti-abuse tools (risk scoring, IP reputation).
Government authorities when required by law (e.g., tax, court orders).
We do not share your data with other customers or unrelated third parties for their marketing.

4) Cookies & similar tech

We use cookies for core site functions (cart, login), fraud/security, and optional analytics.

In the EU/UK, non-essential cookies load only after consent.

5) Data retention

Orders & invoices: kept 5 years (or longer if law requires) for accounting/tax/fraud defense.
Support tickets: up to 3 years after resolution.
Analytics logs: up to 14 months (aggregated thereafter).

6) Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., EU/UK GDPR, California CPRA), you can access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, and object to certain uses.

California (CPRA)

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by CPRA. If we ever start cross-context advertising, we’ll provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link.

EU/UK GDPR

Legal bases include contract (fulfilling your order), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security, service improvement), and legal obligation (tax/accounting).
If we transfer data outside the EEA/UK, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7) Children

Our store is for ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us data, email contact@a2keys.com and we’ll remove it.

8) Security

We use HTTPS, MFA on admin, access controls, and encryption at rest for key systems. No method is perfect, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
